A black darkness. Red blood flying in the air. The sound of heart ripping sobs could be heard by anyone who was in the same area as the crying girl was. Tears fell on the ground, together with some blood dripping out of the wound on the girl’ s arm. Her lips were moving, but Kisshu couldn’ t hear her. He neither knew who she was, because her body was covered by the frightening shadow. When she opened her eyes, and raised her head up to scream something Kisshu was shocked.
He groaned, and moved uneasily in the bed he lay in. ‘Ichigo onee-chan! Mitte! He’ s waking up!’ he heard a high voice saying enthusiastic. When the green haired alien opened his amber coloured eyes, he looked in Ichigo’ s worrying face. Her lips so close to his, his cheeks got red. ‘Kish,’ she whispered. ‘You okay?’ she softly asked to him. He carefully nodded, and the red haired girl then stood up while Kisshu looked how she disappeared out of the room. ‘Ichigo!’ he said to her, but the door already closed after her. ‘You finally came to it, didn’ t you?’ he heard a friendly girlish voice say. When he turned his head  he saw how Mint, Lettuce, Pudding and Zakuro were all standing in the same room next to the bed. ‘Doko?’ he asked. ‘In Café Mew Mew. Where else?’ Mint said on a despising tone to the alien. She didn’ t seem to be glad that Kisshu was awake. ‘Ichigo told you guys what happened?’ he asked to them. They all nodded. ‘It’ s so sad, na no da. I thought Ichigo onee-chan was happy, na no da.’ The blonde Pudding mumbled. ‘Honto. Ichigo and Aoyama looked like they were a great couple, but I guess we al were betrayed by him.’ Zakuro said, looking away. Her blue eyes filled with sadness for her companion.

Concerned, Ichigo sat down on a chair at one of the tables from the Café. Sunlight shone through the heart shaped window on her face. Right after she brought Kisshu a few hours ago to this place, the shop was closed and she had been waiting until Kisshu would finally wake up. But now he was conscious again, she couldn’ t face him. Because of her, bad things happened to him and she didn’ t want to get him injured again after this happened. She thought back to when she told the others about the situation on school... Their reactions made her angry and sad at the same time. ‘What?! Ichigo, you idiot! Why didn’ t you told us earlier about this?’ Mint had screamed to her. ‘Ichigo-san, I agree with Mint-san. This is a serious case.’ Lettuce had said worried. ‘He really did that, na no da? That’ s terrible, na no da!’ Was the only thing Pudding said. Zakuro had been silent until now. A tear appeared in her grey eye, and slowly it rolled over her cheek. Ichigo softly began to cry, stood up and ran away from the Café. She needed some time to clear things up.
Kisshu’ s face frowned. The wound in his back extremely hurt, but luckily Ichigo had put bandages around the stab injury so the bleeding would stop and the pain would be better to endure. Mentioning Ichigo, he wondered what she was doing on this moment. More exactly, he asked himself where she was. ‘Where’ s Ichigo?’ he then asked, to nobody in specific person. They all shrugged their shoulders, and Mint decided to take a look. ‘Ichigo! Your boyfriend wants you to be with him!’ the black haired brat loudly said, and Kisshu blused heavily.

‘O- Oi!’ he stuttered, but Pudding was already hanging around him. ‘I think Ichigo onee-chan and Kisshu onii-chan are cute together, na no da!’ she said with her childish voice. When Kisshu heard those words, he felt his hart bumping faster. ‘Ichigo! Answer me, will ya?’ Mint said when she got no reaction. But it kept silent in the Café. Mint’ s breath caught in her throat. ‘Masaka,’ she whispered. ‘Mint? What’ s wrong?’ Zakuro asked, when she noticed Mint was frozen. ‘Ichigo isn’ t here...’ The spoiled young lady answered slowly. Mint, Lettuce and Pudding acted panicked, Zakuro tried to calm them down and Kish just sat down on the bed, not saying a word. He just stared at the wall in disbelief. “Dos te...?” he thought by himself. “Why did she ran away?” His mind wasn’ t clear enough to think about it, so he decided to go search her at the place where he thought she would be. But right after he stood up, he fell on the ground again. A bang was heard through the whole room, and the Mews stopped talking. ‘Kisshu-san?’ Lettuce asked softly, touching the aliens shoulder. But the green haired boy was unconscious again. The four of them carefully lifted him in the bed again, and all looked with worried faces at the quickly breathing alien. It seemed like he had a nightmare. And they all knew who had a big role in it...

This are the persons who are in the ninth part of my new Tokyo Mew Mew Fanfic “Sour Strawberries”. Later, this story is also going to appear in the form of a comic, but for now I’ m just going to write it because I’ve many things to do for school and I’ m not in a drawing mood lately. However... Because the series are originally in Japanese, I’ m also using Japanese words in my story. And because not everyone can understand Japanese, I think it’ s the best to put a “Translation” column in my “Artist’s Comments”. I hope that this system is going to lear you alot about Japanese words, lean you help with reading the story, and that it is going to be an effective thing. But I’ m not going to tell all the details about the system, so it’ s for you to find out how it works. But, if you still have some questions, be free to ask me what’ s on your mind, so I can help you.

Translation

-
Piece 1;
Onee-sama/Onee-chan - Here generally means “Elder sister”, where a member of the Mew team likes to adress those who are older than them.
Mitte - Look
Doko - Where
Na no da - This is what cute, hyper characters say on the end of their sentences for no apparent reason. Since “Na no desu” means “That is so”. And “Da” is an alernate form of “Desu” and that is, probably, the translation.
Honto - Really (Here; True)
~
Piece 2;
/
~
Piece 3;
Oi - Hey
Onii-sama/Onii-chan - Here generally means “Elder brother”, where someone likes to adress those who are older than them.
Masaka - No way (Here; It can’ t be)
Dos te - Why
-

I think this isn’t very difficult. But that’s what I, at least, hope that it is. But like I said before; If you got a question about whatever you need to know, you just need to ask me and I’ ll explain it to you. This was it acutally for the ninth part. Pretty much, I think. And I hope you agree with me, and enjoyed reading this. I already have some ideas for the tenth part, so I hope you will also join me then. Until then, please have enough with this part and wait with excitement on what is going to follow.
